LEATHER CARE

Based on what type of finish of leather you have bought, not all these rules will apply. After each purchase, you will receive specific instructions to take care of your custom leather.

 

NEVER SOAK LEATHER IN WATER:

Never let your leather soak in water. A spray bottle with water on a cloth is as far as we go. When leather is damp it will stretch and never shrink back, this could ruin the entire fit and look. 

CLEANING DOS & DONTS:

To clean your leather goods use a small spray bottle full of water with 2 drops of dish soap. The only time we use water but please never soak it in a bath. Spray the solution directly on the piece of cloth or paper towel just enough that it is damp, never spray directly on to leather. Wipe the areas, never abrasively scrub or scratch, which will lead to damage.

 

KEEP THE SHINE:

To buff your leather I’ve included in each purchase a non-abrasive cloth. No need to add water to this cloth just work in circular motions to get rid of streaks and fingerprints.

Keep it in the bag:

Each item will be delivered with its own custom linen bag that can also be used on hangers. I highly recommend keeping items in the linen bag provided. As much as I want to display my own items, I live in a house with a dog and he sheds a lot and there so much dust, we also live by the beach. If you live with pets please keep your leather stored in the bag, the dust will settle on the leather, and tarnish the chrome finishes. Which means more cleaning and maintenance. Yikes.
